Global involvement
Since its' formation in 1992 Lywood David International Limited’s products and services have been used by approaching five
hundred financial institutions world-wide. The company can boast open training events and bespoke consultancy
commissions for individual client institutions across the five continents.
Emerging markets
Alongside London based open courses the company has presented training events in the emerging markets of the
Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Far East and India. Under both British Know How Fund and EC PHARE sponsorship
the company has provided a series of treasury and training consultancy services to financial institutions in central and
eastern Europe.
With growing emphasis on professional qualifications across the financial markets the company has designed and
presents a range of specialist events for candidates for ACI - The Financial markets Association industry
standard qualifications: the ACI Dealing Certificate, ACI Settlements Certificate and ACI Diploma.
To this end the company has worked with the Irish, Swedish, Russian, Polish, Croatian, Israeli, Slovakian, Kuwati, Qatari and Tunisian ACI/Forex
Clubs and in many other locations for banks on a bespoke basis. These courses have been presented for local centre
candidates on a FIXED PRICE basis - an extremely cost effective method preferred by many local ACI associations
and financial institutions.
Training methods
Training courses are based around a proven formula combining classroom presentation (including many worked examples),
PowerPoint and other interactive multimedia training methods, case studies and PC based simulation. These differing
techniques ensure all courses effectively integrate theory and practical application of lessons learnt.
